If getting fit is your 2014 goal, Trainer Tip: BE SPECIFIC! For example, don’t just say “I want to lose weight this year”. Instead, say “I am going to lose 2 lbs this week” or “by the end of the month I am going to be down 8lbs”. Come up with a strategy/plan on how you will achieve the goal, then write it down and tell a friend. You will be more accountable to follow through and reaching small goals along the way will help motivate you to continue. Keeping a fitness journal is a great way to track your progress. It also allows you to reflect back on previous workouts and eating habits and adjust/modify to meet your goals. Good luck everyone!
