It was 1998 when I decided I was tired of being overweight. Weighing in at 180 lbs & being 5’6 I was carrying a lot of extra weight. It was having a negative impact on me physically, emotionally, and mentally. I had always been interested in fitness but had the on and off again approach. It was time to make a change and take control of my health and well-being! The benefits of eating right and regular exercise stretched way beyond me losing weight. I felt better than ever. I had more energy, strength, and motivation. There was a dramatic change in my outlook on life! My perspective changed from negative to positive in every way, and that’s what exercise has the power to do! Fast forward to today and I am now happily married with two teenage children. I maintain an active lifestyle with my family and I also love to run. I have completed two 10k’s and two half marathons and I am always looking for new ways to challenge myself. I love to help people and being a personal trainer gives me the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience with others so I can help them reach their full potential and live their best life like I do!
